Key Responsibilities

• Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team
• Support engineering to identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions for product quality issues
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues efficiently, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained
• Conduct product and process audits, including supplier audits
• Ensure control plans and related documentation are properly implemented and maintained
• Monitor and report on quality KPIs such as scrap rates, rework levels, and parts per million (PPM)
• Ensure compliance with and support adherence to the Quality Management System (IATF 16949 and ISO 9001)
• Undertake special projects as needed
• Assist in training staff on quality awareness
• Report on KPIs to ensure process adherence and prevent non-conformities
• Assist with first-off sample approvals
• Promote continuous improvement techniques like Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, and Measurement System Analysis
• Participate in cross-functional teams for product development and modifications to meet customer requirements
• Establish quality standards for raw materials, components, and services
• Work with suppliers to develop and implement quality improvement plans
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on quality metrics
• Conduct quality checks on supplied parts and services
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure incoming materials meet specifications
