Job description

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Your role:

  1. Helps to execute diverse complex tasks based on individual understanding and technical knowledge to address abnormalities within operational manufacturing processes.
  2. Assists in remedying complex malfunctions and helps to execute product quality inspection activities within the project scope.
  3. Works with limited supervision, escalating issues to superiors as needed, and develops a substantial understanding of relevant regulations, requirements, and standards.
  4. Aids in implementing quality control procedures and protocols, ensuring adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  5. Helps in documenting regulatory requirements for good manufacturing controls for medical devices as outlined in quality control plans, and assists in implementing the laboratory chemical hygiene program.
  6. Provides support for executing validation protocols and testing methods for new products and processes to ensure they meet quality standards.
  7. Engages in continuous learning and on-the-job training to enhance skills and knowledge, and ensures the quality of work by conducting checks and taking responsibility for accuracy.
  8. Adheres to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, to maintain a safe working environment.
  9. Escalates issues to superiors and participates in planning and setting priorities within their area of responsibility.

How we work together:

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively performed outside of the main facilities, typically at customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
