Job summary

PT DECA is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to manage QC processes for bulk, in-process controls and finished goods across assigned brands. You will verify inspections and safety testing, and coordinate with manufacturers on production timelines and QC issues.

You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure QC requirements are clearly communicated and documented, maintaining inspection/test records and driving corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Pharmacy or other science disciplines.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control, preferably in personal care or cosmetics.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), CPKB, GLP, and GMP.
• Knowledge of AQL standards and relevant safety and quality regulations.
• Understand the implementation of quality control activities in the field.
• Understand quality standards and requirements for personal care/cosmetic products.
• Understand the overall flow of the production process and the raw materials/packaging materials used.
• Strong attention to detail, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to be placed at makloon/manufacturing sites in Tangerang.

Responsibilities

• Handle QC processes for bulk, in-process controls, and finished goods for assigned brands.
• Verify and oversee quality inspections and safety testing according to established standards.
• Coordinate with manufacturers regarding quality control activities, production timelines, and quality-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality requirements are effectively communicated and implemented.
• Record, review, and maintain QC documentation, including inspection and test results and quality records.
• Follow up with manufacturers on quality issues and corrective actions.
