Job summary

SCG Readymix Manuan - Surabaya seeks a Civil Engineering professional to supervise concrete quality from material receipt to strength testing. You will coordinate with the CM partner to ensure SOPs for concrete quality are followed, perform basic analyses of failures, and monitor daily operations related to MC input, batching, and BU testing.

You will visit sites with CM partner to address quality issues and ensure effective communication within the team.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least SMA/Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.
• Moderate English communication is required.
• Good leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Concrete knowledge from raw material, process and up to end product.
• Capable to analyze concrete quality failures and communicate and coordinate well within internal.
• Capable to supervise CM partner SOP quality fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate concrete quality issues internally between SCG team and CM partner.
• Supervise end-to-end process of concrete quality from material receipt to strength test.
• Ensure CM partner conducts SOPs for concrete quality (such as quick test, MC test, water addition record, initial slump, curing BU treatment, strength test).
• Monitor daily operations from MC input, weighing error handling, BU test preparation, and joint runs on trial mixes or independent tests.
• Visit site or project customer with CM partner to control, monitor and follow up concrete quality issues.

Job description

Communicate and coordinate for the concrete quality issues internally between SCG team and external with CM partner.

Supervise for the end to end process of the concrete quality at plant start from receiving material up to end product (strength test).

Work together and make sure that CM partner will conduct all SOP for concrete quality (such as perform Quick test, MC test, adding water record, initial slump, curing BU treatment, strength test).

Supervise, control and monitoring daily operation from a technical point of view ( MC input, Weighing error implementation, making BU, preparation for BU test, join together on the trial mix or test independent).

Visit site or project customer with CM partner to control, monitoring and follow up any concrete quality issues.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a SMA / Diploma Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

At least 2 Years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Required Skill(s): ready mix, concrete, batching plant.

Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor) specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Moderate communication in English is required.

Good leadership, communication and analysis.

Concrete knowledge from raw material, process and up to end product.

Capable to do a basic analysis for the concrete quality failure, communicate and coordinate well within internal.

Capable to supervise CM partner SOP quality fulfillment.
