Quality Control Manager PT. BUANA SANDANG INDONESIA (Kudus, Central Java)

PT. Buana Sandang Indonesia located in Kudus (Central Java). We are looking for Quality Control Manager (Garment) to join our team and lead the charge in maintaining and elevating the quality of our products and processes. This is a critical leadership role where your expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction, product reliability, and the continuous improvement of our operations.

Ensures that all products meet the required quality standards and customer specifications at every stage of the garment manufacturing process and working closely with production to identify and resolve quality issues promptly and minimize defects, ensure compliance with industry standards, and maintain the company’s reputation for high-quality garments in both domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities

Develop Quality Control Guidelines

Develop and implement quality control guidelines, standards, and inspection procedures for all stages of garment production (from incoming raw materials through cutting, sewing, finishing, to final goods).

Manage and Mentor the QC Team

Manage and mentor the QC team (quality inspectors and auditors), including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance, while fostering a culture of quality awareness among all staff.

Conduct Inspections and Audits

Ensure regular inspections across production stages according to AQL standards.

Review and Approve Samples

Approve samples before mass production starts.

Oversee Final Product Inspection

Ensure final products meet standards or are handled per company policy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Textile/Apparel Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. (Equivalent extensive experience in garment manufacturing quality control may be considered in lieu of a degree.)

Strong understanding of garment construction, manufacturing processes, and fabric properties, gained through education or substantial industry experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance within garment manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Proven experience overseeing quality across various production stages (cutting, sewing, finishing) and effectively troubleshooting quality issues on the factory floor

Willing to be located in Kudus, Central Java

1. Strong inspection, communication, and reporting skills for handling quality control processes and coordinating with production teams.

2. In-depth knowledge of garment construction, quality standards (such as AQL), and inspection methods to ensure product compliance.

3. Analytical and problem-solving mindset to identify quality issues, find root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.

4. Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and verbal, including preparing management reports and presentations to the Board.
