Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Quality Control Inspector/Operator-Expert in Batam to oversee final product quality. You will document inspection results, validate reports, and ensure traceability in MO packages, with support for FAI and in-process inspection activities.

Strong tolerance for shift-based work and a focus on Quality & HSE culture are required. The role requires a diploma or technical high school background with 3 years' related experience, and familiarity with measurement tools, gauges,

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform dimensional inspection and generate accurate reports.
• Familiarity with inspection tools, gauges, and measurement devices.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and HSE awareness.

Responsibilities

• Route package reviews (Spec, Drawing, Picklist, Document Revision).
• Provide dimensional, COC, inspection reports and traceability in MO package.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and in-process inspection activities.
• Verify gauges and tool calibration, validate reports from outsourcing processes.
• Perform inspection per work order (Dimensional, Hardness, Phosphating, Test, Assembly).
• Record inspection results accurately and raise NCRs for non-conforming items.
• Maintain inspection records complete and retained per QMS requirements.
• Participate in Quality & HSE programs and contribute to quality culture at Batam site.
