The Role

We are seeking a highly capable Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Furniture Division team in Surabaya, East Java. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in upholding our exceptional standards of quality and consistency across all furniture products manufactured in our Surabaya facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct meticulous inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished furniture products to ensure they meet stringent quality specifications.
• Identify and address any quality issues in a timely manner, recommending corrective actions to improve processes and mitigate future defects.
• Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities, including test results, inspection findings, and corrective measures taken.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to provide training and guidance on quality control best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and customer requirements, and ensure our quality management systems adhere to these guidelines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance programme by proposing innovative solutions and process enhancements.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or similar role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the furniture sector.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, sampling techniques, and statistical process control methods.
• Proficient in using quality control tools and equipment, such as measuring devices, gauges, and testing apparatus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
