Job summary

Digital Realty Bersama is seeking a QHSSE Manager for Indonesia to lead the QHSSE department and report to the Head of Operations. You will develop and monitor QHSE policies across data center operations, drive risk mitigation, ensure regulatory compliance, lead investigations, and deliver training to all staff.

You will oversee audits, certifications, and risk assessments, manage incidents with corrective actions, and maintain confidentiality for sensitive information while communicating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, OHS or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in QHSE roles, with 3+ years in leadership; data center/tech field preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate teams toward safety and compliance goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain standards at all levels.
• Experience implementing ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and PCI DSS / ISO 27001 familiarity.

Job description

The position will hold role as QHSSE Manager for Indonesia where the person will be responsible for the leadership of the QHSSE department, reporting directly to the Head of Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor QHSE and security policies and procedures across all data center operations, ensuring adherence to industry standards, corporate standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and security risks, including quality, health, safety, environmental impact, and physical security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards, coordinating audits, certifications, and risk assessments as necessary.
• Lead investigations and incident response for QHSE events, near-misses, and security breaches, preparing reports and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Organize and deliver training and awareness programs for all staff covering QHSE standards, security protocols, emergency response, and compliance obligations.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in QHSE roles, with 3+ years in a leadership position, ideally in the data center or technology industry.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams towards safety and compliance goals.
• Meticulous approach to monitoring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Strong verbal and written skills to explain QHSE and security standards clearly and concisely to all levels of staff.
• Strong analytical skills to handle incidents and design effective preventive measures.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards when handling compliance and safety matters according to PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
• Expertise in implementing and managing ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and other regulatory frameworks such as Amdal and so forth.
• Proficient in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCA, CAPA).
• Ability to conduct and manage risk assessments and hazard identification processes.
• Skilled in planning, conducting, and following up on internal and external QHSE audits.
• Strong understanding of local and international QHSE and security regulations, as well as compliance requirements relevant to the data center industry.
