Job summary

A shipping company based in Indonesia is seeking a Safety Advisor with strong QHSE management experience in the shipping and oil & gas sectors. The candidate should possess a minimum bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety and at least 5 years of experience, including incident investigation skills. Responsibilities include planning and monitoring QHSE programs, conducting audits, and providing training. The position is FIFO to Cambodia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QHSE management, preferably within shipping/Oil and Gas.
• Holds valid K3 Migas Certification and preferably Ahli K3 Umum or equivalent certification.
• Experienced in incident investigation and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement QHSE programs, KPIs, objectives, and targets.
• Monitor and evaluate QHSE performance across various operations.
• Conduct internal QHSE audits and ensure timely closure of nonconformities.
• Provide QHSE training and promote a strong safety culture across all business units.

Skills

Strong understanding of Integrated Management System (IMS) based on ISO 9001

Strong understanding of Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS)

Able to perform HIRADC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control)

Competent in conducting internal audits for ISO standards

Fluent in English, both oral and written

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Education

Minimum bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety
