Job summary

Job description

Job Description:Assist the QC Manager in supervising overall QC operations and report critical issues to the Factory Manager as needed.

Oversee and evaluate QC procedures and operational standards to ensure they align with company policies and food safety regulations.

Coordinate the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality control policies and systems.

Supervise the inspection process of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Support the delivery of training programs and internal socialization related to work procedures, company policies, and food safety standards.

Ensure proper documentation control, including accuracy and completeness of all quality-related records and reports.

Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits, inspections, and certification processes; support follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.

Participate in the analysis of audit results and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Support the QC team in day-to-day operations, including staffing, training, task delegation, and performance monitoring.

Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and food safety standards, and assist in implementing necessary adjustments or improvements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field (preferably Food Technology, Chemistry, or related discipline).

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Control function, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior staff role.

Having knowledge and understanding of powdered products is preferred.

Familiar with measurement tools and instruments.

Having certifications/expertise in HACCP, ISO 22000, Food Safety, Hygiene & Sanitation, and Halal and Kosher Systems.

Have good knowledge of QC systems, sampling methods, and implementation of quality control in the field (ISO 9001, TQM, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, CAPA, GKM, 5S/5R, FSSC 22000, Halal, Kosher).

The detail-oriented, proactive, critical, analytical, and logical approach to problem-solving.

Highly motivated, strong team player, with a good ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as necessary.

Have good communication skills in English both oral and written.

Strong written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner.

Physically and mentally healthy.

Willing to be placed in Surabaya.
