Job description

Serve as the main expert in preventive maintenance and ensure Business Partners and maintenance operations regarding the quality of painting column structures, roofs, walls, and floors within the facility.

Design and implement advanced preventive maintenance strategies and schedules, including repainting, tailored to the specific needs of the facility.

Check and inspect the painting results of business partners and maintenance operations, providing feedback to correct any non-compliance with standards.

Lead detailed inspections and audits of maintenance activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations.

Ensure that all maintenance work and materials comply with local and international building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role as a quality control painter for heavy-duty maintenance within facilities maintenance, with extensive experience in facilities and services in mining.

Deep expertise as an inspector in facilities maintenance, including a thorough understanding of heavy-duty painting.

Possess a certificate as an inspector in heavy-duty painting.

Have a Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) appropriate to the position level.

Possess leadership qualities and organizational, scheduling, and time management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team, thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment managing multiple project timelines simultaneously; good communication skills in English, both verbal and written; computer literate.
