About the role

As a QC Inspector Hull Outfitting, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of hull outfitting work for our project in Batam, Riau Islands. This full-time role is crucial in upholding the company's commitment to delivering high-quality shipbuilding services.

What you'll be doing

Inspect hull outfitting work to verify compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and industry standards

Identify and document any defects or non-conformities, and work with the production team to resolve issues

Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure the quality of hull outfitting throughout the production cycle

Maintain detailed quality records and reports to support the company's quality management system

Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements

Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a QC Inspector in the shipbuilding industry

Strong knowledge of shipbuilding technical specifications, drawings, and industry standards

Proficient in the use of quality control tools and equipment, such as measuring devices and inspection checklists

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify and resolve quality issues
