Job summary

PT YPTT Solutions Indonesia is seeking an Electrical Quality Control engineer to ensure that installation works, materials, equipment, testing and commissioning meet project standards and specifications.

You will conduct inspections, verify MV/LV systems, inspect materials, and maintain QC documentation, working with project teams in Jakarta. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 3–5 years in electrical quality control in construction, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical quality control for construction projects.
• Experience in data center environments is preferred.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of electrical installations against drawings, specs, and standards.
• Inspect incoming electrical materials and equipment for compliance with submittals and specs.
• Verify MV/LV systems, cable ladders/trays, cable conduits, PDU and RPP installations.
• Prepare, review, and maintain quality control documentation.
• Monitor electrical testing and commissioning activities.

Job description

Join the electrical quality control team to ensure installation work, materials, equipment, testing, and commissioning activities meet required quality standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities:

Conduct quality inspections and monitor electrical installations with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, and applicable standards.

Inspect incoming electrical materials and equipment to ensure compliance with approved material submittals, technical specifications, and project requirements.

Perform inspection and verification of electrical installations including : MV/LV System, Cable ladder, cable tray, and cable conduit, Power cable installation and termination, Power Distribution Unit (PDU) and Remote Power Panel (RPP)

Verify electrical installation work against approved requirements.

Prepare, review, and maintain quality control documentation.

Monitor and verify electrical testing and commissioning activities.

Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Electrical Quality Control for construction projects, Previous experience in Data Center.

Able to Speak and Writing in English.

Strong understanding of electrical installation and power distribution systems.

Knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning processes.

Ability to review technical documentation and verify compliance with project requirements.

Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.
