PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk produces metals and minerals essential for human life. Headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, Merdeka explores, extracts, and produces gold, silver, copper, and other minerals through subsidiaries across Indonesia. The company also has a subsidiary in mining construction services.

The two main mining operations managed by Merdeka are:

1. The Tujuh Bukit Gold Mine in Banyuwangi, East Java
2. The Wetar Copper Mine on Wetar Island, Southwest Maluku

Merdeka is developing several projects, including:

• The Tujuh Bukit Copper Project, an underground copper mine in Banyuwangi, one of the largest undeveloped copper deposits in the world
• The Pani Gold Project in Gorontalo, Sulawesi, which aims to become a major primary gold mine in Indonesia

We’re looking for a:

QAQC Geologist (QCG)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology/Earth Science
• Minimum 3-5 years of exploration/operation geology experience
• Broad knowledge of gold, copper, and nickel mining operations and processing technology
• Ensuring consistent QAQC data collection and compilation across the group
• Providing QAQC data analysis and monthly reports
• Evaluating new technologies to enhance QAQC performance
• Conducting scheduled and unscheduled audits of laboratories and implementing corrective actions
• Keeping informed of industry best practices and implementing improvements
• Adhering to all Safety, Health, and Environment regulations of PT. MMS
