Job summary

Syngenta is hiring for a QA role focused on ensuring compliance with HSE and quality policies from incoming materials to finished packaging. The successful candidate will support QA/QC activities, maintain samples, and document testing results to meet regulatory and internal standards.

Minimum D4 in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and at least 1 year in QA are required. Proficiency with MS Office and adherence to SOPs are essential for success in this role located in West Java, Indonesia.

• Familiarity with QA documentation and COA checks.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Implement HSE, Quality, and CAN-DO behaviours across activities.
• Conduct packaging testing and support any packaging-related NPIs.
• Review incoming material documentation (COA) against specifications.
• Maintain retain samples and organize documentation per company standards.
• Prepare data and documentation for production changes and quality awareness.

Job Description

• Understand & implement Syngenta HSE & quality Policy & Standard.
• To follow the standard work instructions for quality incoming inspection document for raw material, packaging material, supporting data administration, retained sample and packaging testing.

Accountabilities:

• Implementation of HSE, Quality, & CAN-DO behaviour to all activities.
• Conduct packaging testing and supporting if any NPI in packaging.
• Conduct checking document incoming (CoA) for raw material and packaging material (compare between standard specification and COA received).
• Maintain retain samples, in an organized manner and periodically dispose of sample per company and customer specifications.
• Data and documentation for all incoming material, retained sample, production change over summary, and quality awareness summary.
• Support QA/QC supervisor for any production trial, raw material/packaging material testing, and related complaint issue.

Qualifications

• Minimum D4 qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in QA.
• Understands and follows standard operating procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of Syngenta regulations and standards.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
