Job description

We, Sumitomo Electric Industries Consulting are seeking an experienced QA Staff to join our group company in Cibitung for a probation to permanent employee. This is an important role that will support the smooth operation needs of our group company.

The tasks & responsibilities :

1. Maintain detailed records of quality tests, inspections, and audits.
2. Prepare and submit regular reports on quality findings, trends, and improvement initiatives.
3. Handle and monitor quality process (QA/QC).
4. Ensure that products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
5. Monitor production processes and inspect final outputs to ensure quality compliance.
6. Conduct regular checks and tests on materials and products to identify defects or issues.
7. Handle customer complaints and claims.
8. Address customer complaints related to product quality and work on resolutions.
9. Investigate root causes of quality-related customer complaints and ensure corrective actions are taken.
10. Analyze product or service performance data to identify areas for improvement.
11. Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
12. Participate in root cause analysis for quality failures and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
13. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives like Six Sigma or Lean practices.
14. Suggest ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of quality assurance procedures.
15. Coordinate with other sections such as Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Machinery.
16. Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the entire production or service process.
17. Collaborate with R&D for new product development to ensure that quality standards are met from the design phase onward.
18. Ensure that the organization complies with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and certifications, also understanding PDCA & ISO 9001, IATF.
19. Conduct internal audits to ensure that all departments are following quality procedures and guidelines.

The qualification :

Must be graduated from Bachelors (S1) of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the manufacture or Automotive Industries.

Strong knowledge of Production, Quality or Engineering.

Excellent in English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
