Job description

Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering. Master’s Degree is a plus.

Minimum 15 years of experience in QA/QC within oil & gas, petrochemical, or EPC projects, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems and procedures, especially in piping, tank, and structural fabrication/installation works.

In-depth understanding of international codes and standards such as ASME, API, AWS, ISO 9001, and other relevant industry regulations.

Proven experience in developing and implementing QA/QC documents including Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, WPS/PQR, and Welder Qualification Tests (WQT).

Skilled in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods including RT, UT, MT, PT, and visual inspections, as well as supervision of hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing.

Experienced in material receiving inspection, traceability control, MTC review, and material identification.

Proficient in handling audits (internal and external), managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and driving Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Demonstrated ability to manage construction turnover and mechanical completion dossiers.

Familiarity with QA/QC software tools or digital platforms such as Aconex or SmartPlant is an advantage.

Strong leadership, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams and interface with clients or third parties effectively.
