As a QA Manual Tester, you will work closely with our Development Team to test and analyze various system features and software enhancements. Job Description:
- Test Case Design and Execution: Collaboration with developers to create detailed, comprehensive test cases based on functional specifications and requirements documentation. Execute test cases manually.
- Exploratory Testing: Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects, usability issues, and edge cases that may not be covered by formal test cases. Apply critical thinking and domain knowledge to simulate real-world usage scenarios and identify potential areas of improvement.
- Performance Testing: Design, execute, and analyze performance tests to assess the scalability, responsiveness, and stability of transportation software applications under various load conditions.
- Usability Testing: Evaluate the usability and user interface (UI) design of transportation software from an end-user perspective. Identify usability issues, navigation challenges, and accessibility concerns through usability testing sessions and user feedback analysis.
- Bug Tracking and Documentation: Document defects, issues, and test results in a structured manner using bug tracking tools. Clearly communicate findings to Developers, Support, Development team, and other stakeholders.
- Compliance and Monitoring: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, industry best practices, and customer requirements. Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in software testing and quality assurance, particularly those relevant to the transportation industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Informatics Engineering / Information Systems is preferable, with 2-4 years of experience as software QA.
- Experience with QA tools and technologies - Postman and OBS is a plus.
- Proficient in conducting root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues impacting software quality.
- Demonstrate good logical thinking, strong attention to detail, and seamless team communication skills.
- Ability to understand client’s business process and conduct use case testing.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a must.
- Experience working in the IT & transportation industry is a plus.
- Eager to learn and possess a can-do attitude.
- Experience in ticketing and CRM is a plus.
- Ability to present test findings on new features development.
