Job summary

Glints is seeking a QA Tester in Batam, Indonesia, for manual functional testing of core insurance applications. You will work with stakeholders on projects and defects, ensuring requirements are met and test results are well documented.

The ideal candidate has 0–1 year of manual testing experience, a CS-related degree, and strong English communication. We value attention to detail and reliability in a growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Fluent in English (verbal and technical) is a must.
• Not jumping too often from one company to another.
• Good personality and behaviour.

• Work closely with stakeholders on allocated Projects/CR/Production defects.
• Ensure systems are tested thoroughly and comply with BRS/Functional Specifications/Technical documentation.
• Ensure test results are documented properly.
• Communicate risks from incidents from development to the QA manager.
• Aptitude for testing with a keen eye for detail.
• Manual functional testing of core insurance application.
• Experience in regression, manual functional testing, or automation testing.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders on allocated Projects/CR/Production defects.
• Ensure that systems are tested thoroughly and comply with the requirements defined in BRS/Functional Specifications / Technical documentation comprising high-level or low-level system designs.
• Ensure test results are documented properly.
• Ensure any risks from the delivery of incidents from the development team are communicated to the QA manager.
• Should have an aptitude for testing with a keen eye for detail.
• Manual functional testing of any core insurance application.
• Experience doing regression, manual functional testing, or automation testing.

Qualifications:

• Have experience in manual testing 0-1 year of experience / fresh graduate are welcome to apply (with internship experience).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or any related.
• Fluent in English (Verbally and technically can explain) is a must!
• Not jumping too often from one company to another.
• Good Personality and Behaviour.
