Job Description
- QA Engineer (Automation QA) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for our game, focusing on AI-powered and traditional automation testing.
- The engineer will work closely with QA and DEV teams, reporting to the QA vertical and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of the developed scripts and to find solutions for more efficient automation.
- Develop and implement automation test scripts using AI-powered and traditional testing tools tailored for game development.
- Collaborate with QA and DEV teams to define test strategies and automation requirements.
- Leverage machine learning models to enhance automation test coverage, predict failure points, and optimize test execution.
- Stay updated on the latest industry standards, tools, and techniques for game automation testing, and incorporate them into existing practices.
- Research and implement emerging AI and automation technologies to improve game testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify gaps in current testing workflows and drive initiatives for continuous optimization.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with various testing frameworks and tools.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git and GitHub.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, multitask, and work autonomously.
- Great attention to detail, sharp observation, pattern recognition, and analytical thinking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think critically and anticipate potential issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams internationally.
- Advanced English skills and confidence in communicating with peers and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and growth mindset, continuously seeking improvements.
- At least 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar roles.
- Extensive experience in creating automation frameworks using Python (expertise in other programming languages is a plus).
- Experience in creating automation frameworks for video games is a plus.
