Job Description

Test Design and Execution:

1. Design and execute manual and automated functional test scenarios to validate that new features meet acceptance criteria.
2. Collaborate with product owners to define clear acceptance criteria for features.
3. Collaborate with QA across teams to ensure holistic end-to-end testing.
4. Maintain and execute manual and automated regression test scenarios for every release cycle.
5. Identify, report and retest defects.
6. Assist in triaging, diagnosing, and prioritizing the defects backlog.
7. Continuous deepening of business domain knowledge to improve test design.

Automation And Tooling

1. Build reusable automated test suites and integrate with CI/CD pipeline.
2. Champion continuous improvement of automation capabilities within the team.

Communication And Engagement

1. Facilitate clear reporting of test progress and quality issues to stakeholders (internal and external).
2. Demonstrate new features to stakeholders (internal and external).

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
2. 1-3 years of relevant software testing experiences, fresh graduates with a keen interest in software testing are encouraged to apply.
3. Experienced with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall etc.).
4. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of software testing methods and processes for functional and non-functional tests.
5. Experience with Risk-based testing, able to evaluate and execute testing approaches based on identified risks.
6. Experienced with test analysis, test design and writing scenario based functional tests.
7. Ability to independently manage, create, and execute testing activities.
8. Experience with testing applications across various platforms (mobile, desktop).
9. Knowledge of n-tier SaaS product development and testing is desirable.
10. Understands testing techniques for APIs and RESTful services.

Skills & Attributes Required

1. Experience with test tools: Azure DevOps, Postman, JMeter etc.
2. Experience with test automation tools: Cypress, TestComplete, Selenium etc.
3. Experience with test automation CI/CD pipeline.
4. Experience with scripting language (JavaScript, Python etc.).
5. Able to work independently, manage own time and workload effectively and to meet deadlines.
6. Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
7. Analytical and meticulous.
