About the role

Reporting into the Head of Procurement, this full-time Purchasing Manager (Mandarin) role is an excellent opportunity to join PT HUA LONG CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY INDONESIA' in their West Jakarta, Jakarta office. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials and services to support the company's manufacturing and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and services

Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve the best commercial terms

Manage a team of purchasing professionals and provide leadership and guidance

Monitor and analyse purchasing trends and costs to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements

Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant industry regulations

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (3+ years) in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within the manufacturing or logistics industry

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin

Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
