Job summary

A leading event services company in Jakarta is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee all procurement activities. Responsibilities include developing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with policies. Responsibilities

Responsible for the procurement of goods related to all JIExpo needs, including core business, business units, and internal requirements.

Develop purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.

Manage the procurement process for goods and services, including price negotiations, contracts, and delivery schedules.

Evaluate and select suppliers based on product quality, pricing, and availability.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors.

Supervise the performance of the purchasing team and provide training when necessary.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of work experience in purchasing/supply chain, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience handling construction projects.

Possess a wide network of vendors and strong negotiation skills.

Proficient in Excel.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Flexible to work during events, weekends and long shifts as needed.
