Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing Manager to lead and manage the entire procurement function. This role will be responsible for developing purchasing strategies, overseeing sourcing activities, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support the company’s operational and growth objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier partnerships and manage vendor performance.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support production and operations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels in coordination with warehouse and production teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Operations, Production, etc.) to align procurement plans with business needs.
  • Prepare and manage purchasing budgets and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and sustainability standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
