Qualifications

Job description

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Psychology from an accredited institution; Master’s degree in a related field will be an advantage.
2. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
3. Experience teaching in Cambridge, IB, and IGCSE International schools preferred.
4. Sound understanding of Indonesian Curriculum (e.g. Curriculum Merdeka), and IMYC or IMYP/IB or IGCSE will be an advantage.
5. Strong classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Requirements:

1. Excellent communication skills and in-depth knowledge of the subject.
2. Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students.
3. Responsible for the teaching of Drama subjects, including tracking and assessing students’ work.
4. Oversee the safety provision at the school, including pupil workshops.
5. Highly motivated to serve children, engage students in the teaching and learning process, and set high standards for self and students.
6. In-depth knowledge of the learners’ profile attributes and support students in developing desired skills aligned with them.
7. Passionate about professional and personal growth to improve teaching practices.
8. Prepare up-to-date teaching resources and instructional materials to increase students’ joy and effective engagement in their learning.
9. Demonstrate an understanding of interdisciplinary teaching and learning.
10. Continuously monitor students’ progress and make necessary changes in teaching strategies and lesson plans to meet students’ needs.
11. Collaborative and demonstrates independence and enthusiasm in sharing professional practices with colleagues.
12. Understand, respect, and appreciate diverse cultures, and a sense of global stewardship and responsibility.
