Job Description - Project Sales Leader, Himel(Indonesia) (0094AJ)
Purpose of the job:
The sales leader will serve as the Himel Brand ambassador and drive territory revenue focusing on the project environment. They will own the sales territory and dedicate efforts to long-term success. The ideal candidate is an experienced salesperson with a strong network in the electrical market, particularly in project backgrounds, and can develop relationships with stakeholders such as specifiers, developers, contractors, and panel builders. They will interact with key players, providing technical and commercial support for Himel offers. The candidate should have the ability to build, negotiate, and close large, complex deals, and possess leadership skills to motivate and earn respect from clients.
Job responsibilities:
- Create and specify Himel brand into BOQ/ToR/RKS/other tender documents of projects.
- Maintain, manage, and aggressively close projects to achieve wins.
- Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, specifiers, developers, M&E contractors, and indirect panel builders.
- Achieve personal annual targets as assigned by the manager.
- Propose specifications for products and solutions based on Himel product features.
- Gather project information, including technical specifications and key players.
- Manage project events such as gatherings with consultants, panel builders, and contractors to increase brand awareness and cooperation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to secure project orders.
- Manage project distributors to increase sales and ensure efficiency; prepare monthly forecast orders and quarterly sales estimates.
- Plan and prepare the yearly marcom budget, monitor market trends in the electrical project environment, and support promotions, branding, and events.
- Respond to customer complaints and comments.
Qualifications
Essential Professional Experience:
- 5+ years in relevant sales and export roles in electrical products and solutions, including low voltage electrical products, power distribution, and industrial control products.
- Project experience with the ability to build strong relationships with distributors, customers, and partners.
- Strong project market experience and proven partnerships in West/East Indonesia.
- Demonstrated leadership in execution, influencing skills, and strategic sales initiatives.
Desirable Qualifications
- Extensive network in the electrical market.
- Experience working in leading electrical companies (e.g., Chint, LS, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Shihlin, Panasonic).
- Good understanding of LV products, technical knowledge, negotiation skills, and customer relationship management.
