A leading construction firm is seeking a talented Project Purchasing professional to support procurement operations across various projects in Indonesia. Responsibilities include managing shipments and logistics, procurement of materials, and supplier negotiations. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and a minimum of 3 years in purchasing, preferably in construction. Strong English and negotiation skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking a talented Project Purchasing professional to join our team at China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation for projects across Indonesia. This is a contract position that will play a vital role in supporting project procurement and general administration operations.
Handle and coordinate local and international shipment and logistics processes, including documentation, customs clearance coordination, and delivery schedules.
Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for ongoing projects.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing.
Maintain accurate inventory records and optimize stock levels.
Work closely with project managers and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiency.
Provide administrative support to the Procurement team as required.
Proficient in English (written and spoken), Mandarin proficiency is more preferable
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficient in procurement systems and inventory management tools.
Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to drive a car is a plus.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
