Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead HV Substation delivery from design through energization, coordinating interfaces with a 144 MW + 144 MW Data Center Campus and managing consultants, contractors, vendors, and utility stakeholders to achieve project milestones.

The role requires 5–15 years in HV Substations or related power infrastructure, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and strong leadership with regulatory and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 to15 years of project management experience in HV Substations, Power Infrastructure, or Mission Critical Facilities.
• Proven experience managing projects through design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and energization phases.
• Strong knowledge of HV electrical systems, utility requirements, grid connections, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, budgets, risks, contractors, consultants, vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of HV Substation works from design through energization.
• Coordinate all interfaces between the HV Substation and the 144 MW + 144 MW Data Center Campus.
• Manage consultants, contractors, vendors, and utility stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
• Monitor project schedule, budget, risks, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and utility requirements.
• Provide regular project reporting, issue escalation, and stakeholder communication.
• Drive timely decision-making and risk mitigation to support overall project objectives.
• Support utility approvals, grid connection, and energization readiness activities.
• Maintain effective project governance, documentation, and knowledge transfer throughout the project lifecycle.
