Project Manager - Expat

The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership in managing large-scale offshore oil & gas projects, particularly those involving complex subsea infrastructure and deepwater facilities. This is a strategic role that demands strong technical knowledge, stakeholder engagement skills, and a deep understanding of offshore regulatory and execution challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee the overall execution of the project lifecycle, from detailed engineering to commissioning and handover.
2. Provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
3. Ensure that project goals related to safety, cost, schedule, quality, and scope are achieved.
4. Engage regularly with the client (INPEX), regulatory bodies, and subcontractors to maintain alignment and resolve project challenges.
5. Lead risk management, interface management, and change management processes.
6. Monitor and control project budget, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
7. Ensure strict compliance with company and client HSE standards, especially in offshore deepwater environments.
8. Champion the application of best practices in project management, especially for subsea systems and offshore facilities.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline; Master's Degree preferred.
2. Minimum 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 10 years in subsea/deepwater EPC project execution.
3. Proven track record as Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer on large-scale offshore projects.
4. Extensive experience working in a multicultural, international environment – Asia Pacific experience is an advantage.
5. Demonstrated leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams across diverse project locations.
6. Sound understanding of subsea infrastructure including pipelines, risers, umbilicals, subsea production systems, and associated topside tie-ins.
