Job summary

Tokotype in Bandung is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project traffic, timelines, and workflows across its creative initiatives including type production and book design. You will serve as the primary coordinator for the design team, ensuring briefs, revisions, approvals, and deliverables progress on schedule.

You will build and maintain project tracking systems to keep internal and external work organized and transparent, while regularly reporting updates to the Founder.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager or Studio Manager at a design studio, creative agency, or similar industry.
• Understands the design production workflow (brief, concept, revision, production, approval) and can distinguish reasonable revisions from scope creep.
• Comfortable with project management tools (Lark, Trello, or similar).
• Communicative and organized, able to manage several ongoing projects without losing track of details.
• Familiarity with graphic design or typography is a plus.
• Able to work from the studio in Bandung.

Tokotype is looking for a Project Manager to oversee project traffic, timelines, and workflows across the studio’s diverse creative initiatives, including type production, book design, and other visual communication projects. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of coordination for the design team, ensuring briefs, revisions, approvals, and deliverables progress according to schedule. You will build and maintain project tracking systems to keep both internal and external work organized and transparent, while regularly monitoring progress and reporting updates to the Founder. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will coordinate resource planning and cross-team scheduling, proactively identify project bottlenecks or potential delays, and implement solutions to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time.
