Job description

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled NPD PMO to lead and coordinate New Product Development (NPD) projects across our manufacturing and R&D teams. This role requires a strong communicator who is comfortable pushing timelines, aligning cross-functional teams, and managing complex technical project workflows. The ideal candidate must have a technical background and be capable of driving project milestones from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional NPD project activities (R&D, Engineering, QA, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Regulatory)

• Own and drive project timelines, tracking milestones, deliverables, and potential risks

• Set up and manage project dashboards, Gantt charts, and status reports

• Push teams to stay on schedule and resolve bottlenecks with assertiveness and clarity

• Ensure clear documentation and traceability of engineering change orders (ECO), DMRs, and DHF files

• Conduct regular project reviews and report progress to senior management

• Work closely with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment

• Coordinate product lifecycle activities from prototype to validation and commercial release

• Maintain documentation and processes in compliance with ISO, FDA, or relevant medical device standards

• Support BOM management, prototyping, testing schedules, and supplier follow-ups

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field

• 3+ years experience in project or program management within a technical or manufacturing environment

• Strong background in product development or engineering project coordination

• Can speak Mandarin and English (spoken and written);

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to push teams and keep momentum

• Confident personality, highly organized, and results-oriented

• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel, Jira, or equivalent)

• Knowledge of NPI/NPD lifecycle, product change control, and cross-border coordination

• Experience in medical devices, life sciences, or electronics manufacturing is a plus
