PROJECT LEADER / SENIOR ENGINEER

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Project Leader with the following minimum requirements:

1. Education: Min. Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or Technical field.
2. Experience: Min. 3 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Medical products or plastic injection molding.
3. Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO/GMP standards, software, and scheduling relevant to projects.
4. Skills: Ability to work independently, lead project teams, and organize New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and lead project teams; organize NPI activities, development, and introductions.
• Compile technical documentation, prepare quotations, and provide manufacturing documentation.
• Coordinate engineering input into the Project Management and Quality Plan.
• Follow up on approval of parts, arrange mold transfer to production, and handle customer-related issues for new projects.
• Act as a technical liaison for product-related issues and lead project meetings.
• Schedule and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion, including follow-up with external suppliers.
• Prepare quotations using supplier information, cost standards, and technical data from quality, manufacturing, engineering, and design teams.
• Create bills of material, detailed manufacturing instructions, and external supplier specifications.
• Participate in Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) during project development.
• Review and monitor project progress and timelines to ensure quality and contractual adherence.
