About the job

Responsible for managing and leading the Project Execution Team and supervising all assigned regional customer Projects/Orders for the team to ensure contract fulfillment and delivery of contractual requirements.

Responsible for leading, developing, and securing a high performing team in line with the Alfa Laval culture and values.

Key tasks:

1. Coordinate and follow up on the projects managed by the Project execution engineer.
2. Monitor progress and performance against the project plans and control the cost to avoid deviation.
3. Make decisions when deviations (cost, delay, technical) occur against the project plan.
4. Ensure the project margins and improve them if possible through change order management.
5. Liaise with other operational areas in the organization (for example, engineering, technical) to secure specialized resources and contributions for the projects secured by the Sales Company.
6. Manage troubleshooting during the warranty period of new equipment sold.
7. Set and monitor the objectives for the team according to the Sales Company targets.
8. Develop, motivate, and coach direct reports to secure the development of relevant competencies supporting their professional development.

What you know?

1. Relevant engineering bachelor’s degree from an established university or equivalent.
2. 3 - 5 years of experience in Project Management.
3. Candidates with prior experience as a team leader/people manager will have an added advantage.
4. Experience in an engineering background preferred.
5. Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
6. Agile and a good problem solver.
