Job summary

Accesstech Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer Mechanical for Data Center construction. The role involves site coordination, preparing mechanical drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

You will monitor installation, manage scheduling and resources, and liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors on site. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in construction engineering, data centre fit-out experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant construction engineering experience, including data centre fit-out works.
• Outgoing with strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and be target oriented.
• Strong English communication; Indonesian nationality.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation, coordination, and submission document handling.
• Coordinate stakeholders on site to meet project requirements.
• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, specs, and docs.
• Conduct site visits to monitor installation and progress.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Develop detailed work schedule, manpower and resource plans.
• Select materials and equipment for mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot design, construction, and commissioning issues.

Project Engineer Mechanical - Data Center Construction

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Site preparation and co-ordination, preparation of submission documents.
• Coordinate, liaise and manage various project stakeholders including customers, consultants, sub- contractors, vendors, etc. on site to ensure project requirements are met.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for mechanical systems.
• Conduct site visits to monitor the installation and progress of mechanical systems.
• Able to communicate effective to all stakeholders.
• Prepare and create detail work schedule, manpower and resource planning.
• Select appropriate materials and equipment for mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Able to understand Engineering drawings and perform basic engineering calculations, design, etc.
• Coordinate the safety management system on site.
• Ensure all mechanical systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Follow up and reporting on the project progress.
• All other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Recognized Diploma or Degree in related field of studies.
• Possess 3 to 5 years relevant experience in the local Construction Engineering industry. Including manufacturing plant construction, Data Centre fit-out works, etc.
• Outgoing with strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with Clients, Consultants, project members and managers at all levels.
• The candidate must be Indonesian.
• Able to communicate in English
