Prepare and assist in the preparation and implementation of the Project Execution Plan, from identifying project plans and proposals to reviewing and analyzing project progress. Ensure all documentation and specifications, both internal and external, conform to the company’s standards and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Key Metrics

  • Identify and analyze anomalies, variances, or non-compliances in actual operating costs (materials, plant, labor, subcontractors, etc.), and take corrective actions or inform management of proposed actions to ensure compliance.
  • Provide recommendations on operating cost reports based on comparative analysis of budget/forecast to actuals (unit costs, capital costs, overhead costs, etc.) to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast to support operational objectives within the allocated budget.
  • Implement and maintain budgeting and costing processes and procedures to achieve department objectives and targets.
  • Maintain and actively implement SHE programs, including SHE Management System, to ensure effectiveness and compliance with standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3, and SMKP. Ensure SHE risks are well managed, target zero LTI is pursued, and programs meet required standards.
Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer.
  • Proven track record in projects within the mineral sector involving a multicultural workforce and international subcontractors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction management principles and practices, including extensive experience in construction methods and engineering design processes.
  • Ability to multitask across project engineering, scheduling, budgeting, etc.
  • Willing to work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to supervise and evaluate subordinates’ work.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, is an advantage.
