Egis is an international group in engineering and services with global reach. In Indonesia, the Egis Transport & Territories team supports transport planning, geotechnical engineering and road & pavement design for projects in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
- The Project Assistant/Transport Analyst provides administrative, logistical, and data management support to the Project Manager and project team, ensuring the project runs efficiently, maintains accurate records, and communicates effectively among stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in data handling and administrative tasks.
- Data Collection & Management
- Technical documentation: Maintain and update project documentation, including files, databases, and digital records; support data collection and transport analysis where required; contribute to transport surveys programming and execution; contribute to document quality control including reports, drawings and other deliverables through template management and reviews.
- General documentation: Implement and enforce data management protocols for project-related information (e.g., tracking sheets, resource allocation, budget summaries). Compile, clean, and analyze project data for reporting and monitoring purposes under the direction of the Project Manager.
- Coordination & Reporting
- Manage consultations: Schedule and coordinate project meetings; prepare agendas, handouts, and presentation materials; attend meetings and record, transcribe, and distribute Minutes of Meeting (MoM); follow up on action items with team members and liaise with the General Assistant for logistics.
- Technical & management reporting: Prepare project status reports, technical memoranda, and presentations using graphical data and transportation terminology; assist in the preparation and formatting of project reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Other: Other responsibilities in technical production, tendering, and project control may be considered.
Experience and Background
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in transport or road engineering, or related field.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, written).
- Proficiency with office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with GIS is highly desirable.
- At least 1 year of experience in urban or transport planning.
- Experience abroad is a strong advantage.
- English and Indonesian: reading, writing and speaking proficiency.
- Team-oriented with a positive, accountable attitude; flexibility to handle tight deadlines, manage priorities, and travel.
