Job summary

The candidate should have 5+ years of software development experience, a solid Java foundation, and hands-on experience with MySQL, Redis, Linux, and Docker.

Java Full-Stack Developer
Location: Priskila Tower, Cengkareng, Tangerang (on-site)

PT Onmuse Industrial Indonesia (COCOUP Furniture) is looking for a versatile Java Full-Stack Developer who can independently handle system development, production deployment, and day-to-day server operations. The ideal candidate has a strong Java foundation, genuine full-stack ability, and hands-on experience managing production environments and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve business systems, admin panels, and internal company platforms.

Develop Java-based backend services, including business logic, APIs, and database integration.

Develop or contribute to frontend features to support end-to-end business workflows.

Translate business requirements into system architecture, module breakdowns, and implementable technical solutions.

Independently handle the full development cycle: requirements analysis, database design, backend and frontend development, API integration, testing, and deployment.

Build and maintain admin panels, business systems, and internal tools.

Perform feature iteration, performance optimization, code refactoring, and technology upgrades on existing systems.

Install, configure, deploy, upgrade, and migrate company applications.

Deploy and configure Java applications, databases, Nginx, Redis, and other common services in Linux environments.

Build testing and production environments; manage releases, backup, and rollback procedures.

Perform routine Linux server maintenance, monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting.

Monitor and optimize server, database, and application resources.

Manage server security, data backup, access control, and basic security protection.

Diagnose and resolve production incidents quickly to maintain system stability and availability.

Collaborate with business teams to clarify requirements and translate them into workable technical solutions.

Create and maintain technical, deployment, API, and operational documentation.

Identify technical issues, propose improvements, and drive their implementation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience with the ability to work independently.

Able to independently take ownership of a core application or module (not limited to backend development only).

Strong command of Java fundamentals.

Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, MyBatis/MyBatis-Plus, or similar mainstream Java frameworks.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, multithreading, caching, transactions, exception handling, and common performance optimization techniques.

Good coding discipline, architectural understanding, and strong problem-analysis skills.

Proficient in MySQL, including schema design, SQL writing, indexing, and performance optimization.

Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies.

Able to independently build admin panels and business web interfaces, and perform frontend-backend integration.

Hands-on experience with Linux server installation, configuration, and operations.

Familiar with Nginx, Tomcat, Docker, and common deployment tools/environments.

Able to independently deploy, upgrade, migrate, and troubleshoot Java applications in production.

Able to analyze logs and diagnose CPU, memory, disk, and network issues; practical experience with backup, recovery, and basic server security.

Preferred

Experience developing ERP, CRM, supply chain, warehouse, finance, enterprise management, or other large-scale business systems.

Proficient in Docker, Docker Compose, Jenkins, Git, Maven, or related tools.

Experience with microservices architecture such as Spring Cloud / Spring Cloud Alibaba.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, or AWS.

Experience in system architecture design, database architecture, or high-concurrency system optimization.

Track record of independently taking a system from 0 to 1 and launching it for real-world use.

Experience with server security, network configuration, SSL certificates, domains, and HTTPS deployment.
