Job description

The role aims to support and optimize the business's top & bottom line, focusing on promotional, pricing, and trade investment activities by utilizing in-depth analysis and strategy development across the full value chain behind related commercial activities.

With a strategic framework in place, this role translates strategies into guidelines & tools for the CCD-Sales Team, reflecting our understanding of consumers, shoppers, and customers. The role influences promotion, pricing, and broader marketing mix elements such as assortment & display to support profitable business growth.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Develop robust business cases and prepare recommendations for sales and senior management decisions.
  2. Provide comprehensive analysis related to topline portfolio management, including portfolio & channel mix, investment corridors, price strategies, promo strategies & planning, trade terms, and total cost to serve (Trade Cost).
  3. Develop processes & tools to establish the right KPIs, shifting decision-making from volume/sales to business financial metrics.
  4. Calculate the impact of actions on P&L for Danone and retailers.

Internal interfaces include the PRGM Team, Sales Team (CCD, KAM), Marketing Teams (including S&I Team), and Finance Team.

External interfaces involve consultants & researchers, shoppers, key opinion leaders, retailers, and distributors.

About you
  • Preferably have a background in Sales Finance, Commercial Finance, Net Revenue Growth, or Trade Marketing.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance & sales controlling.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal & influencing skills.
  • High attention to detail & accuracy.
