Job summary

PT Yuni Bersaudara Sejahtera in Pekanbaru, Riau, is seeking a Productivity and Efficiency Engineer to optimise our operational processes, reduce waste and boost productivity across our palm oil milling and processing operations. Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in process improvement and lean management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate data into actions.
• Experience in labour-intensive manufacturing environments preferred.
• Familiarity with productivity measurement tools and process mapping software.
• Excellent communication and ability to engage staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing processes, workflows and operational systems to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement efficiency improvement strategies and productivity enhancement programmes tailored to our operational environment
• Monitor KPIs and productivity metrics to track progress and measure impact of changes
• Collaborate with team leads and operational staff to understand challenges and co-create practical solutions
• Design and optimise labour scheduling, task allocation and resource utilisation to maximise output and minimise downtime
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish realistic performance benchmarks and identify opportunities for optimisation
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations on productivity improvements, cost savings and operational enhancements
• Provide training and support to staff on new processes, procedures and best practices
• Investigate and resolve operational issues impacting efficiency
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of improvements
