The role

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Aspen Pumps Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. As the Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.

Key responsibilities

Lead identification of Near Miss and safety hazard in the production environment.

Accountable for proper housekeeping and 6S best practices.

Leads production floor area based on SQDCP - Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People to address yield, quality, productivity and operational concerns involving operators and other supporting team.

Plan available resources in people, material, space and equipment to effectively meet quality standards, production schedules, and cost targets.

Be part of the team to perform Kaizen activities on the production floor to propose improvement opportunities for operational excellence.

Meet production schedule in accordance with the build plan.

Perform Standard Work audit on all processes or test procedures as defined in respective operating specifications to ensure that the products or parts conform to the quality standards set by our customers.

Ensure operations are conforming to Control plan, Process specifications, ets.

Be part of support and mediator when in need to address concern affecting direct labour performance at the production line.

Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.

Work with other department such as QA, Warehouse, Planning and other supporting team to achieve production goals.

Ensure product changeover best practices is followed.

Ability to identify non-value-added activities and challenge status quo to drive for operational excellence.

What we're looking for

At least 2 year(s) of experience as supervisor managing team of operators in the manufacturing environment, preferably product assembly or electronic environment.

Good people management skills and management of staff.

Ability to communicate to all levels of employees in the organization.

Knowledge of Lean and Kaizen activities will be a plus.

Minimum Diploma, equivalent or above in any field.

Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa, and other language will be a plus.

Good exposure and knowledge in production planning and manpower control.

Ability to work independently and solve production related issues when needed.
