Job description

To coordinate and drive production planning activities within the organization to achieve high customer service levels, risk mitigation, and collaborate closely with the Production Department to meet or exceed output targets.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Coordinate and drive production planning activities within the organization to achieve high customer service levels and meet or exceed output targets.
• Analyze forecasts from the distribution centers using Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to ensure accuracy and alignment with build plans.
• Collaborate with S&OP to resolve discrepancies in IBP forecasts.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IBP-related inquiries at the site.
• Provide support on SAP master data and work closely with Global Master Data as needed.
• Ensure HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) implementation and performance in respective departments, providing leadership and managing other HSE activities assigned by management.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Experience with IBP or similar planning software/tools.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
