Job summary

PT Omya Indonesia is seeking a Production Operator to manage the manufacturing process for essential minerals in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Technical, at least 5 years of manufacturing experience, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be responsible for maintaining production quality standards, ensuring equipment functionality, and following internal safety guidelines.

Job description

Production Duties :
- Execute manufacturing process by operating designated production equipment.
- Select intermediates or raw materials, move and load it into production machines.
- Understand bill of materialsand/or formula specifications, so the proper quantities of materials are added in the proper sequence.
- Manufacture product in a safe and timely manner and according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality standards.
- Accurately read control instruments, prepare neat & accurate records for all operations as required.
- Responsible for completion of all quality test requirements to verify final product quality.
- Ensure efficient, uninterrupted production and identify and facilitate process improvements, monitor equipment and report production information in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
- Keep records for production, raw material deliveries, quality samples and equipment and process performance.
- Prepare product packaging for next step in production or for final shipment to customer according to department specifications.
- Ensure proper operation, maintenance and cleanliness of various laboratory instruments.
- Work in accordance with all relevant requirements and internal safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Quality, Safety, Health and Environment :
- Responsible for housekeeping in the plant and maintaining a clean, safe and clutter free work environment.
- Know the significant quality, safety & health, and environmental (QSHE) aspects/ impacts associated with work, including relevant legal/ other requirements and emergency preparedness and response.
- Understand and use the Corporate Sustainability Policy and the Integrated Management System (IMS) as guidance to continuously improve the QSHE aspects of job.

Education & Experience :
- (Diploma Degree) in Technical is preferred
- 5 years of industrial / manufacturing experience in a chemical or related field
