Job summary

AkzoNobel Indonesia is seeking a diligent production operator to support daily manufacturing targets and batch-based processes. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork as you handle filling, pouring, stirring, sampling, and reporting tasks.

You will follow standard procedures, use PPE correctly, and cooperate with QC and lab teams to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school / vocational education is required.
• Has 1-4 years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Willingness to learn and follow health, safety and environment procedures.

Responsibilities

• Check the safety equipment on the machine and ensure it is functioning before use.
• Check machine condition to ensure operational capability for filling/processing.
• Report discrepancies and unsafe conditions to superiors.
• Verify raw materials are correct with batch and order numbers.
• Ensure incoming materials match batch numbers and orders.
• Pour or suction liquid raw materials into the designated tank as per batch card.
• Stir materials according to batch card instructions.
• Take samples and send to the Lab.

Job Purpose

Conduct process or filling activities according to batch cards and daily production targets, produce products that meet the quality and customer standards, prioritize occupational safety & health, follow applicable work procedures and get involved in the implementation of the ALPS and HSES program.

Key Accountabilities

• Check the safety equipment available on the machine and ensure it is functioning properly before being used for filling / processing activities
• Check the condition of the machines that will be used for filling / processing activities, making sure all the machines can function properly
• Report to superiors if discrepancies and unsafe conditions are found in the machine
• Checking the completeness, quality and quantity of raw materials to be processed or filled in accordance with the batch card
• Ensure that any raw materials received for processing or filling activities are in accordance with their batch number and order number
• Do the pouring / suctioning of liquid raw materials into the tank / vessel that has been provided in the order in the batch card has been poured into the tank to the mixer
• Do the stirring according to the instructions in the batch card
• Take a sample and send it to the Lab.

Key Activities

• Make an intermediate stirring that will be filled and send the sample to QC for hiding checking
• Adjust the filling machine according to the volume of packaging in the Batch Card
• Fill the product into prepared cans
• Perform initial, middle and final weighing when charging according to the standard
• Perform filling machine cleaning after filling is complete
• Making reports on the daily work to superiors, through the report form or reporting media that has been provided
• Implement the LSR and Golden Principle principles in daily activities
• Assist in solving health, safety and environmental problems
• Caring for and using PPE provided in the right way

Experience

Education and Experience;

• Minimum high school / vocational education
• Has 1-4 years’ experience in manufacturing

• Thorough, diligent and tidy at work
• Have good communication skills and build strong teamwork
• Have knowledge of the principles of health, safety and work environment
• Understand and can operate computers (Windows Word and Excel)
