Position : Production Manager (Polyester Manufacture in Tangerang)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage daily operations in our polyester manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, managing resources, and leading a production team to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control all production activities to achieve output targets.
• Oversee the entire polyester production process (polymerization, spinning, drawing, finishing, etc.) while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Develop and implement production schedules, resource allocation, and workforce planning.
• Monitor production performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to optimize workflow.
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
• Manage, train, and develop production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate production reports and present performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in polyester, petrochemical, textile, or polymer industries.
• At least 10-15 years of working experience in Textile (Spinning Business) and understanding of spinning processes, machinery, and materials.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of spinning processes, machinery, and materials. Required skills include strong analytical & problem-solving skills, good communication skills, negotiation skills, meticulous attention to detail & strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

• Strong knowledge of polyester production processes and equipment.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma principles.
• Good communication skills in English (written & spoken).
