Job description

This role is responsible for managing the operations of all production departments in the plant, ensuring that production meets the goals of product quality, cost effectiveness, safe working conditions, and customer satisfaction. The role involves reporting issues related to production quality, maintenance, or personnel, and managing the plant in the absence of the plant manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Team Management: Supervise and lead the production team, including training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
2. Quality Control: Monitor production processes to meet quality standards. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions.
3. Involved in Halal Management
4. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Implement TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Cost Control: Manage production budgets and control costs without compromising quality. Analyze production data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
6. Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
7. Reporting: Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, downtime, and efficiency.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, maintenance, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing and/or production engineering.
• Strong computer literacy and people management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with Lean/5S/6 Sigma/TPM/SAP is an advantage.
• Knowledge of financial measurements in manufacturing.
• Willing to be placed in Cikarang - Jawa Barat.
