Job Description
- Accountable for achieving operational targets and ensuring daily activities align with broader site improvement initiatives.
- Lead the execution of operational strategies by setting clear objectives, defining accountabilities, allocating resources, and eliminating barriers to performance.
- Interpret operational data to support long-term planning and drive strategic enhancements across multiple shifts and teams.
- Manage major projects and lead improvement programs, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control activities.
- Spearhead complex performance improvements through the application of ELS (Enterprise Lean Sigma) methodologies.
- Develop and execute initiatives aimed at elevating safety, cost efficiency, quality, employee training, inventory management, and service levels.
- Promote a culture where safety is a core value, ensuring all health and safety standards are consistently met.
- Lead the safe and compliant operation of the business unit according to company policies and relevant regulations.
- Support the development of annual operating plans by contributing operational insights and performance targets.
- Oversee the planning, procurement, and distribution of products, parts, and accessories to optimize sales and inventory management.
- Apply ISO 9000 standards within operational processes, ensuring compliance with quality management systems.
- Track, monitor, and analyze key operational metrics to drive business improvements and deliver stronger outcomes.
- irect the upkeep of all facility systems, machinery, and grounds, supported by a technical team including supervisors, technicians, and contracted service providers.
- Organize and supervise maintenance schedules for machines, equipment, and buildings to maximize uptime and efficiency.
- Lead the implementation of maintenance improvement initiatives by setting goals, clarifying priorities, ensuring resources are allocated, and removing operational barriers.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades and modifications to enhance performance and extend asset life.
- Prioritize and assign projects and maintenance work orders according to strategic and operational needs.
- Uphold strict safety and cleanliness standards throughout all maintenance activities.
- Provide oversight or support for the engineering and construction of new facilities or major facility modifications.
- Coordinate and schedule the activities of the maintenance workforce, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Manage procurement activities for maintenance-related parts and services, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Maintain an organized and efficient maintenance inventory system, including documentation, parts, and tools.
- Apply ISO 9000 protocols specific to the maintenance function, ensuring all practices meet quality system requirements.
- Lead data analysis and drive continuous maintenance improvements, aligning with long-term operational strategies.
- Employ ELS tools and methodologies to optimize complex maintenance and operational challenges.
- Support the professional growth of team members through training and development initiatives; ensure performance objectives are established and progress is regularly reviewed.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in operations or manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven success in leading teams and managing individual contributors.
- Strong English flucnecy.
- Experience in the packaging / printing / apparel industry.
- Practical understanding of modern manufacturing methods and material flow (e.g., lean manufacturing, continuous flow, cellular layouts).
- Familiarity with financial processes and key cost drivers within manufacturing environments.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and strategic execution skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-driven organization and influence outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management capabilities.
