The opportunity

PT Kahar Duta Sarana, a leading company in the manufacturing of Label Product, is seeking an exceptional Production Manager to join their team in Jakarta. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the production processes, ensuring efficient planning and scheduling to meet the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to maximise efficiency and meet customer demands
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production department, including monitoring performance, identifying and resolving issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise production workflows and processes
• Analyse production data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations (K3)
• Lead and motivate a team of production personnel, providing training and development opportunities
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's production strategy

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in a production management role within the manufacturing
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling and inventory management techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
• Proficient in data analysis and using production management software
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions
• Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field, such as engineering, production management or operations management
