A leading chemical manufacturing company in Cikande is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to oversee carbamation operations. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, manage production teams, and implement improvements in processes. A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years of industry experience are required. The position demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, particularly in the implementation of the carbamate process.
Experience in developing and optimizing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for chemical production.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or process engineering role within the chemical or related industries.
Proven leadership experience managing technical teams or production units.
High level of discipline, honesty, and responsibility.
Oversee the operation of carbamation production machines for active ingredients, including methomyl, oxamyl, and BPMC, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Proactively identify and address issues within the production process, implementing effective troubleshooting measures to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
Continuously monitor and control the production process to ensure smooth operations, compliance with quality standards, and adherence to safety protocols.
Prepare and present reports on production progress, highlighting challenges encountered and solutions implemented, while analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement comprehensive production plans, setting clear production targets, creating detailed production schedules, and identifying necessary resources to achieve organizational goals.
Lead, mentor, and develop production staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth and development within the team.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency, utilizing methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma when applicable.
