Production / Maintenance Engineer (New Equipment Installation)

The Engineer is tasked with managing engineering projects from start to finish, supervising production equipment maintenance to ensure efficient and timely operations, and overseeing the inventory of consumable and non-consumable spare parts to support ongoing production. This role combines expertise in project management, maintenance supervision, and spare parts coordination to sustain smooth operational workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Uphold strict compliance with safety protocols in all production, maintenance, and project activities.
• Implement and monitor critical safety practices, including working at heights, confined space procedures, and handling of explosive materials.
• Develop and execute maintenance schedules for production equipment.
• Work closely with production technicians and operators to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks.
• Manage spare parts inventory for production, leading the spares team to ensure readiness of consumable and non-consumable parts for daily production, maintenance, and breakdowns.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify, prioritize, and implement improvement opportunities.
• Represent the production department in cross-functional engineering projects.
• Ensure project acceptance protocols and criteria align with production KPIs.
• Identify and systematically address key performance and quality issues across the site to enhance factory performance and minimize waste.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal projects related to operations, production processes, or continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical management fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mid-level managerial role within maintenance or engineering.
• Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Lean Principles.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and CAD applications.
