Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a dedicated sanitation associate to ensure cleanliness of the Megaluh production line and surrounding cleanrooms. The role emphasizes adherence to hygiene standards, SOPs, PPE usage, and collaboration with production staff to prevent contamination.

The ideal candidate will follow detailed SOPs, maintain cleanliness during runs, and participate in ongoing hygiene and safety training. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required to support uninterrupted production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a cleaning or sanitation role, preferably within a manufacturing, food processing, or cleanroom environment.
• Understanding of hygiene and sanitation principles.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to perform demanding cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of the production line equipment, machinery, and surrounding cleanroom areas according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Utilize appropriate cleaning agents, tools, and techniques to effectively remove dirt, debris, and contaminants.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness during production runs, addressing any spills or issues promptly.
• Document cleaning activities, including tasks performed, chemicals used, and any observed discrepancies.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, damage, or concerns regarding hygiene to supervisors immediately.
• Participate in training sessions on hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure cleaning schedules do not disrupt operational efficiency.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and reporting needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for cleanliness and sanitation processes.
